Our verdict
The Max 875 Combo, launched on 2 September 2026, is iRobot's answer to the best Chinese flagships. On paper it closes most of the gap. Wait for independent lab results before paying full price, but it is the Roomba to shortlist if you want every feature.

- iRobot's most powerful robot to date, according to the company
- SealForce skirt is designed to seal the robot against carpet for deeper cleaning
- Roller mop lifts and a shield drops over it on carpet, so rugs stay dry
- Recognises more than 300 household objects, according to iRobot
What to know
- Expensive next to Roborock and Dreame flagships with similar specs
- Very new, so there is little long-term owner feedback yet
- Carpet and suction claims are iRobot's own and not yet confirmed by independent labs
