Our verdict
Roborock is unusually specific: it says the Qrevo Curv can be as quiet as 55 dB when mopping only in quiet mode, measured in a semi-anechoic chamber (a room designed to stop echoes). That makes it a good choice for daytime mopping in a home office. Vacuuming on higher power will be louder.
What we like
Roborock publishes a specific quiet-mode figure and test method
Mop-only runs are much quieter than vacuuming
Full dock that empties, washes and dries
Dock empties dust, washes mop pads in hot water and dries them
Recognises common clutter such as cables and socks using a camera
Climbs thresholds up to 3 cm, or 4 cm double thresholds, per Roborock
What to know
55 dB applies to quiet mop-only mode, not vacuuming at full power
Dock washing and emptying cycles are louder
Large dock needs floor space and a nearby socket
Uses disposable dust bags, an ongoing cost
Roborock's smallest-object figure means thin cables may still be missed
