Our verdict

Walden is the most interesting newcomer of 2026. By skipping legs it gets robots onto a real production line sooner. Businesses can enquire through its "Hire a robot" page; there is no consumer product.

What we like

  • Already doing production work, not just demos
  • Wheels make it easier to meet existing factory safety rules
  • $300 million raised at a $1.1 billion valuation, with Toyota, Nvidia, Boeing and Samsung Ventures backing

What to know

  • No public specs or price
  • No legs, so no stairs
  • Very new: launched from stealth on 15 July 2026
